New music 125 years old

15 Jun

Now added to my Jukebox page (link above) is a recording of the original version of the slow movement of Dvorak’s 7th Symphony, which has been unheard since the première in 1885. Many thanks to Jonathan Del Mar, the editor of the new Bärenreiter edition of the score, for allowing me to make the recording, featuring the Bromley Symphony Orchestra conducted by Adrian Brown.
