Anyone at a loose end on Saturday 30th January and within range of South London should pop along to this excellent concert. Performed by local amateur musicians of a high standard, the concert includes the world première of “The Something In-Between” by John Holland, written for local oboist Isobel Williams who will perform it that night. The programme also includes some favourite works for wind orchestra including Philip Sparke’s “Yorkshire Overture”, Paul Hart’s “Cartoon” and “Symphony no 3” by James Barnes. It promises to be a musical and magical evening!
